Andrew Hoseck joined Alacrity in June 2016 as Chief Executive Officer. Andrew entered the IT industry as a programmer in 1990, following the completion of a B.Com (Business Information Systems) from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

In 1996, he joined Erudite Library Systems (later incorporated into Universal Knowledge Software) as a project manager and went on to manage both the development and support departments before being appointed as Managing Director of UKS in 2001.

In 2005, he joined the executive management team of UCS Software Manufacturing, and later that of Argility. Andrew has extensive experience in all operational areas within a business, and excels at converting strategic objectives into operational plans.

Candice Booysen is the Group Executive: Human Capital for Alacrity Technologies, and is also a registered Industrial Psychologist with the Health Professional Council of South Africa. She is responsible for the strategic direction of the Human Capital function, and has served as a Talent Specialist and Organisational Development practitioner in various industries for organisations such as Deloitte, Aspen Pharmacare, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Media 24, and the University of the Western Cape. She holds an M.Com. Degree in Industrial Psychology, and is currently completing her PhD at Stellenbosch Business School. She is a dynamic leader who is passionate about the development of organisations, teams and individuals.

Executive: Business Development & Head: Professional Services, Gauteng

LeRoy Paterson is a highly skilled executive-level professional with over 20 years’ experience in the financial and information technology services sector. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the business development and client engagement divisions, and also heads up the operational business in Gauteng.

LeRoy’s career started in the Auditing profession and prior to joining Alacrity, he headed up several financial and operational divisions within Sanlam. He holds numerous qualifications and has professional membership with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the institution for Sales & Marketing Executives International.

He is hugely passionate about innovation, strategic business development, leadership, as well as empowering and developing teams. He is results driven and thoroughly enjoys working and dealing with professional people who have strong, energetic, positive attitudes. He firmly believes that building mutually-beneficial and long-lasting trusted partnerships is the key to success.

Jackie is our extremely dedicated Head of Augmentation Services with 18 years’ experience within the industry. She graduated from Cape Peninsula University Of Technology with a National Diploma in Business Administration (Personnel Management), coupled with an additional Certificate in Human Resources Management.

Through her passion and enthusiasm for empowering people, she is driven by her commitment to contribute to the company’s strategy and vision by proactively and consistently engaging with our staff members who respect and trust her.

Shabier Cassim - Head : Development Services, Western Cape

Shabier Cassim

Head : Development Services, Western Cape

Shabier Cassim, has worked in the Information Technology industry for over sixteen years. He has a Diploma in Information Technology, and a further Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town. Shabier gained his vast experience and knowledge through working in various roles such as: Software Developer; Team Lead; Project Manager; Project Owner and Development Manager, at a number of Information Technology companies.

What he enjoys most about his role is the development of people in the organisation, and has actively involved himself in the graduate programme at Alacrity. Furthermore, his flexible, adaptable management approach ensures that delivery for all stakeholders is consistently met.

Sheetal Bhoola - Financial Manager

Sheetal Bhoola

Financial Manager

Sheetal Bhoola joined Alacrity in May 2012 as the Assistant Financial Manager.  In March 2014, she was promoted to her current position of Financial Manager.

Originally from Zimbabwe, Sheetal trained at Ernst & Young within their Entrepreneurial Services division, providing accounting services to various SME’s, from mining companies to sole proprietors. During this training, she completed her Accounting Science Degree (BCompt) through UNISA. In 2006, she immigrated to the UK where she worked for two international companies – Marsh Limited and PepsiCo.  In 2009, she moved to South Africa where she worked for a private bookkeeping company prior to joining Alacrity.

Sheetal is registered with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and is busy completing her studies to become a qualified Chartered Accountant.
